1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how NoInkSoftware ("we," "us") handles information on our websites, including noinksoftware.com, rmgeorge.com, and the pages where you sign up for free materials. It goes with our Terms of Use.
2. What we collect
Your email address. If you sign up for a free download or our newsletter, you give us your email address. That's the only personal information we ask you for.
Messages you send us. If you use our contact form, we receive whatever you put in it, such as your name, email address, and message.
Basic visit information. Our sites use Google Analytics, which collects information about how visitors use a site, such as pages viewed, the device and browser used, approximate location, and your IP address. This helps us understand which pages are useful. See Section 5.
3. How we use it
We use your email address to send you the material you requested and our newsletter. We use contact-form messages to reply to you. We use visit information to improve our sites. We don't use your information for anything else.
4. We don't sell it
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or any other personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
5. Who handles it for us
Systeme.io processes our email list and sends our emails. It stores your email address on our behalf and handles signups and unsubscribes. Its handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Google Analytics collects and processes visit information for us. It uses cookies and similar technology. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on (search "Google Analytics opt-out add-on") or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Google Sites and Carrd host our websites and may keep standard server logs.
Amazon and other retailers handle book purchases. We don't receive your payment or purchase details, and retailers' own policies apply to them.
These services may store and process information in the United States or other countries.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe, Systeme.io may retain it for a period under its own policies. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as we need them to reply and keep reasonable records.
7. Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us, through our contact form, to delete your information or tell you what we hold about you, and we'll respond within a reasonable time. California residents may have additional rights under California law, and we'll honor valid requests.
8. Cookies and "Do Not Track"
Google Analytics uses cookies. Our sites don't currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
9. Security
We use reputable services and reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our sites are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed. Continuing to use our sites after a change means you accept it.
